 Later, we gathered that Ifeanyi had fled to Cotonou where he was chilling with the bigger boys！Though, we had no cause to suspect him as he was the son of a rich man and also a taxi driver with uber, we still had to keep an eye on him as it was on record that their father regulated how he sent them money！


Though, he was known to be a skilled lier, we were wrong this time around. When the car was brought back to the compound after Chikelue had gone through a risky ordeal in the hands of the armed robbers, the police also traced it back to the compound and had it seized.


When we got to police, it turned out that the same car had been used to shuttle a kidnap victim between two cities two months earlier. It was not clear but the police suspected that Chikelue was innocent.


The whole case got messy when Chimaobi's father returned and found out that the original keys to his cars had been replaced with spares.
