Here in Africa, people tend to judge their brethren more than help them even though they are not officially judges, they tend to do so just to satisfy their curiosities, ridicule the person or even cajole him or her into their game. I am not saying you should stop judging people, I am just saying that you should thread with caution because you're also in the public glare of the people. So, most of what you do are seen by others and you shall be judged accordingly as you're not the only person who could judge. What I am saying is that we should shun ignorance and help ourselves rather than endless casting of aspersions on people due to what we have heard about them, seen them do mistakenly or even forgetting.
It is not good to judge people, it is better to help them but if you insist, here are some of the things you should consider.
1. Nobody is perfect.
Yes, you heard me well. Forget about claiming. Human beings are designed to have frails though that is not an excuse to let people commit crimes around you. The only way out is to admonish them and tell them they can do better other than do wrong things. It would interest to know that people are willing to listen to you if you have good things to say to them rather than abusive words or even bullying.
2. Time
Some of us have things we are working on and it takes time. It could be those aspects of our lives such as finance, behaviour or religion. Some of these places need amendment. Understand that there is time for everything and this is the time to grow.
3. Forgive
The truth is that there are things you must over look because of the people you think are mature are actually not inspite of their big bodies. Do not limit your knowledge to rumours. Find out the truth for yourself and stick to it. That some people claim that there is God does not make it to be true. There are things that you should do for yourself, research is one one them.
In one way or the other, one day, you shall find yourself looking back to say that you have tried.
