AS UKRAINE WEEPS
Due to the recent invasion of Ukraine by troops from Russia, one wonders if there is any place on sight for peace talks but one thing is certain: after the war comes peace but one thing that remains a mystery is why peace should be given a room to reign all through.
Truth be told, wars do not benefit anyone as voices of kids being burnt amidst airstrikes are heard and the groaning of the wailing mothers reach the skies yet the men are nowhere to be found as they have left the country through the borders, underground tunnels and even deserts but those are not signs of a weak nation as human lives have to be preserved.
Considering the fact that there are international students schooling in both Ukraine and Russia, one begins to wonder if it is a good idea for both countries to go to war! What can be stopped later can be stopped now. Let both parties do what they're capable of to ensure harmony among peoples sharing the same border because it is obvious that more lives can be saved than lost when peace is reached.
Growing up, I though the essence of keep armoured tanks, nuclear weapons or even intelligence is to protect the lives of citizens by ensuring security but now war proves otherwise because they're being put to harmful uses.
Now, money has to go down the way, virtues and logistics follow but the most unpleasant one is human lives. Save! Save! Save! As not everyone deserves to be a victim of war!
In one way or the other, one day, you shall find yourself looking back to say that you have tried.
